Network
HM.CHURCH belongs to the Full Gospel Churches of Australia network. This is a network of autonomous Pentecostal ministries, pastors and churches in Australia. Their role is to assist churches in being compliant with governmental legislation and community expectations. Their aim is that local churches and ministries are safe, vibrant and growing.
Eldership
Our board of elders provide wisdom, support, and spiritual leadership, as well as covering for the Senior Pastor. They help guard, govern and guide the direction of the church regarding finances, governance and major decisions. Our elders play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth, pastoral care and unity of the church family.
Our board of elders currently consists of: Ps Benny Tan, Ps Sharon Tan, Barbara Pugh, David Leslie, and Caroline Sorby.
Senior Pastor
Pastor Alex first started on staff at HM.CHURCH in 2015 and has always believed in and served the vision of the house. In late 2023, Pastor Alex alongside his wife Karlie took on the senior leadership position of HM.CHURCH. As the Senior Pastor, he oversees the vision and culture, preaching and teaching, loving and leading of the church. Working alongside our staff and volunteers to fulfil our vision of seeing more people becoming more like Jesus.
Heads of Departments
Our Heads of Departments (HOD’s) oversee specific aspects of the church and ensure that they function smoothly and effectively. Their role involves, but is not limited to organising activities, managing resources, and supporting volunteers or staff within their department. They collaborate with church leadership to align departmental goals with the overall mission and vision of the church.
